Well, it appears that it's that time of the year again. For those of you who are wondering what time, it is May 4th. The unofficial annual Star Wars Day. "What does this mean for me?" you may ask. Well, I'll tell you. Absolutely nothing. If you're a major Star Wars fan then it's a chance to geek out, use lots of bad puns and Star Wars references all day. Other than that? Business as usual. Although, if you happen to see a few extra Jedi and stormtroopers roaming the streets, don't be too surprised.

In other news, I'm almost at the big 3,000 for pageviews. I really haven't had time to even start to think of what I'm going to do to commemorate the occasion. I'll be sure to come up with something. The question is what that something should be? Maybe I'll do a special VFX shot for it or something as that is the area that I seem to be focusing on lately.

Speaking of focusing, I have officially updated my blog for my production management course with a number of entries since I posted about it here last. I am sad to say that the course is over. I am currently waiting for grades on everything (joy of joys). I may continue to update the blog after all of the grades come in. We shall see. The parental types are convinced that I should continue writing journal entries about my internship experiences on my blog. I haven't posted the ones that I did for my internship course as of yet, but I am considering it. The one thing is that I may have to edit it severely as there are things that may or may not be better off not being read by the world. Nothing too bad, just things that could be considered slightly confidential...ish. Maybe. If you want to check out what is currently on the blog feel free to check it out: [link]

In regards to internship updates, I now have two. I started both of them mid to end of March and have been enjoying them immensely. One is at Syndicado Inc., a distribution company that focuses on alternative platforms such as Amazon.com and Netflix. It's main focus is documentaries although it also has a number of dramas and TV series that it distributes. My other is at Fast Motion Studios. The best way to describe what we do there is "we do anything from motion capture to fight choreography to stereoscopic 3D. You name it, we probably do it". That is how I normally tell people what we do.

Both of the internships are fun and I have met a number of interesting people. After I have finished all of the hours required for my program, I hope to continue on at at least one of the internships until the end of the summer. I have had the chance to work on major feature films and have worked on a variety of projects that have been extremely interesting. I hope to be able to post about them soon (as soon as they're no longer confidential).

That's all for now. I hope that everyone is doing well and is having a great time. Hopefully my random rant has not bored you all too much.

That's no fun. I think I may have gotten a bit of a cold whilst tromping around in the snow yesterday.

That's awesome! Hope you had fun! Things are going well. A bunch of us want to make a short film this summer, so I'm starting to come up with script ideas. Yes to the Joker thing although the green hair is now gone. Finally after four and a half months and a short hair cut all of the green is gone. He still has the maniacal laughter though.
